Job Description

The incumbent will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and development of Huron's employees across entry and mid-levels. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about employee learning, skill development, and career growth. The incumbent will collaborate with leadership and HR teams to design, implement, and evaluate training and development programs that foster talent and help achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

Learning Needs Assessment:

- Partner with leaders and business stakeholders to identify talent development needs and learning objectives.
- Conduct regular needs analysis through surveys, focus groups, and feedback to understand organizational learning gaps.

Program Design and Delivery:

- Design and develop learning programs by applying instructional design principles, ensuring alignment with business needs and adult learning theories.
- Customize learning experiences that align with business needs and employee growth, leveraging various learning formats (e-learning, instructor-led, blended).
- Lead, facilitate, or coordinate training sessions, workshops, and development initiatives, both in-person and virtually.

Talent Development Strategy:

- Support employees in their personal development plans and encourage ongoing learning and skill enhancement.

Learning Technology Management:

- Collaborate with the Learning Management System (LMS) team to ensure content is updated, tracking is accurate, and reporting is completed.
- Recommend and implement new tools, resources, or systems to enhance learning initiatives and employee engagement.

Evaluation and Reporting:

- Assess the effectiveness of training and development programs through feedback, assessments, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Use data-driven insights to make improvements to learning programs and show measurable impact on performance and engagement.

Culture and Engagement:

- Foster a learning culture by promoting continuous development and knowledge-sharing across teams.

Qualifications

Education:

- Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or any other related field.
- Functional certifications related to Learning and Development (e.g., Instructional Design, Learning Delivery, Learning Evaluation) would be an added advantage.

Experience:

- 6-8 years of experience in learning and development, talent management, or a related HR function.
- Proven experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating learning programs.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and development methodologies.
- Familiarity with learning technologies and platforms, such as LMS and e-learning tools.

Skills and Competencies:

- Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Ability to build strong relationships with business leaders, employees, and HR colleagues.
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Skilled at using data to drive decision-making and improve learning outcomes.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
