The role involves generating leads, explaining products, convincing potential customers, and closing sales while maintaining strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, persuasive abilities, financial product knowledge, and the drive to achieve sales targets consistently. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales of Loans & Insurance Products Promote and sell all types of loan products: Personal Loans Home Loans Vehicle Loans Business Loans Credit Cards & Overdraft Facilities Sell insurance products: Health Insurance Life Insurance Term Plans General Insurance Policies (motor, travel, property, etc.). Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable loan or insurance products. Assist customers in loan eligibility checks, policy comparisons, and product benefits. 2. Lead Generation & Conversion Generate leads through cold calling, online campaigns, walk-ins, referrals, and existing customer databases. Explain product features, benefits, eligibility criteria, and application procedures. Convert prospective leads into confirmed customers through effective persuasion techniques. Maintain a high conversion ratio by building trust and addressing customer queries promptly. 3. Online & Offline Sales Activities Handle inbound and outbound calls to connect with potential customers. Promote products via social media, WhatsApp, email marketing, and online campaigns. Conduct offline marketing activities such as: Setting up stalls in malls, exhibitions, and events. Visiting corporate offices, residential societies, and business hubs. Distributing brochures, flyers, and marketing materials in target areas. Collaborate with field sales teams for document collection and face-to-face closures. 4. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with customers for repeat business. Provide post-sales support, including loan disbursement status and insurance policy servicing. Maintain high customer satisfaction by resolving queries and complaints effectively. Follow up regularly with customers for renewals, top-ups, and cross-selling opportunities. 5. Documentation & Compliance Assist customers in completing loan and insurance application forms accurately. Verify documents as per KYC guidelines and company policies. Ensure compliance with RBI, IRDAI, and company regulations. Maintain proper records of calls, leads, applications, and conversions in the CRM system. 6. Target Achievement Work towards achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets. Focus on both volume-based and value-based sales. Track performance against KPIs and provide regular reports to the sales manager. Required Skills & Competencies 1. Communication & Interpersonal Skills Strong verbal communication skills in English, Hindi, and regional languages. Ability to convince, influence, and negotiate effectively. Good listening skills to understand customer needs and expectations. 2. Sales & Marketing Skills Knowledge of loan and insurance products and their features. Ability to pitch products persuasively to diverse customer groups. Competency in handling objections and closing sales confidently. 3. Technical & Online Selling Skills Familiarity with CRM tools, loan processing portals, and insurance platforms. Proficiency in using MS Excel, email, and WhatsApp marketing tools. Comfortable managing both telephonic and digital sales activities. 4. Personal Attributes Result-oriented with a passion for sales. Self-motivated and target-driven personality. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
