Company Description PetroBot Technologies is a robotic technology start-up located in Jaipur Our flagship product is the PetroBot ITIS Rover which is a remotely-operated robotic crawler that carries out on-stream inspection of hydrocarbon storage tanks We also offer the MagRover a remotely-operated wall-climbing robot for external inspection of industrial equipment Our team of experts is dedicated to providing cutting-edge solutions that make inspection cost-effective affordable and efficient Job Summary PetroBot Technologies is seeking an enthusiastic strategically driven Assistant Manager - Business Development to expand our market presence in the Southern region of India This remote position focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities in the Oil Gas and Non-Destructive Testing NDT sectors The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in business development specifically within the South region and a proven track record in Oil Gas or NDT sales Key Responsibilities Business Development Sales Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities in the Oil Gas and NDT sectors Develop and execute effective sales strategies including lead generation and targeted prospecting Achieve assigned revenue and growth targets by securing new client engagements Collaborate with the Sales Design and Technical teams to ensure successful project delivery Client Relationship Management Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with key clients in the South region Act as the primary point of contact for clients addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner Conduct regular client meetings and performance reviews to ensure continued satisfaction and business retention Operational Support Prepare and submit tender documents quotations and competitive bid proposals Monitor project execution timelines and budgets ensuring adherence to quality and delivery standards Support revenue optimization initiatives and manage strategic accounts Strategic Planning Industry Awareness Stay updated on industry trends market developments and regulatory changes in the Oil Gas and NDT sectors Identify opportunities to leverage PetroBot s products and services to support strategic growth initiatives Monitor competitor activity and market shifts to inform business strategy Reporting Performance Analysis Track and analyze key performance indicators KPIs related to business development Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on sales performance pipeline status and market dynamics Qualifications Qualifications Requirements Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Electronics or a related field Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Business Development specifically in the Oil Gas or NDT sectors in the South Indian region Strong understanding of business development strategies and B2B sales processes Proven experience in preparing and managing tenders and bid submissions Proficiency in CRM software and basic project management tools Excellent verbal and written communication interpersonal and negotiation skills Additional Information Preferred Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective relationship-building and client engagement capabilities Understanding of industry-specific sales methodologies Strategic thinking and proactive approach to market expansion Additional Information Work Mode Remote Work from Home Preferred Candidates Applicants must have prior experience minimum 3 years in business development for Oil Gas and NDT industries in the South Indian region Only candidates meeting this regional and industry-specific experience requirement will be considered
