We are seeking a competent and customer-focused Gold Loan Representative to join our branch operations team The role involves handling the end-to-end process of gold loan disbursals including gold valuation documentation customer servicing and adherence to operational and compliance protocols The ideal candidate will demonstrate high integrity strong financial acumen and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations of gold ornaments using standardized tools and procedures to determine purity and market value Accurately calculate eligible loan amounts based on prescribed loan-to-value LTV guidelines Ensure timely processing of gold loan applications including KYC verification documentation and data entry in the core banking system Manage safe custody of pledged gold assets ensuring security protocols are strictly adhered to Maintain up-to-date records of all transactions loan accounts and pledged inventory Monitor overdue accounts and proactively follow up with customers for renewals interest payments and closures Cross-sell other financial products and services to enhance customer engagement and branch profitability Comply with all regulatory audit and internal risk management guidelines RequirementsQualifications and Experience Education Bachelors DegreeExperience 13 years of experience in gold loan operations retail lending or banking financial services Certifications Training in gold appraisal or certification in financial services is an advantage Skills and Competencies Strong understanding of gold valuation techniques and market trends Good knowledge of retail lending practices and compliance requirements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude Proficiency in MS Office and experience with financial loan processing software High standards of integrity reliability and attention to detail Ability to work under pressure and meet operational targets
