Responsibilities:

- Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
- Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
- Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, etc.)
- Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
- Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics
- Assist CEO in fundraising ventures
- Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.)
- Manage relationships with partners/vendors
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA preferred
- Proven experience in senior leadership roles, with a focus on operations management
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Experience developing and implementing operational strategies and initiatives
- Knowledge of business process optimization, supply chain management, and logistics
- Financial acumen and budget management skills
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in the ship repair & upgradation, shipbuilding, defence technology, equipment sales & services, and weapons & electronics industries
- Familiarity with maritime regulations and safety standards
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and ISO standards
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams
