Client Consultation & Requirement Analysis Meet with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget constraints. Conduct feasibility studies to determine project viability. Develop conceptual designs and proposals based on client expectations. Suggest innovative and cost-effective solutions to meet client objectives. 2. Architectural Planning & Design Create blueprints, layouts, sketches, and 3D models using CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or ArchiCAD. Develop conceptual, schematic, and detailed designs for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Incorporate aesthetic appeal, sustainability, and functionality into every design. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations. 3. Project Coordination & Collaboration Collaborate with structural engineers, MEP engineers, interior designers, and landscape architects. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors for smooth project execution. Ensure seamless integration of design, materials, and construction techniques. Manage changes in project scope, ensuring timely approvals and implementation. 4. Construction Supervision & Site Management Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications. Oversee quality control, safety standards, and material usage on-site. Resolve on-site technical issues and provide guidance to contractors and project managers. Approve samples of materials, finishes, and fixtures before implementation. 5. Budgeting, Cost Estimation & Procurement Prepare project cost estimates, budget plans, and financial forecasts. Recommend cost-effective materials and solutions without compromising on quality. Review vendor quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure timely procurement of resources. 6. Regulatory Compliance & Approvals Ensure that designs comply with local building codes, fire safety regulations, and environmental guidelines. Liaise with government authorities to obtain necessary approvals and permits. Prepare documentation for statutory clearances and certifications. 7. Sustainability & Innovation Integrate eco-friendly materials, green building technologies, and energy-efficient solutions into designs. Keep up to date with modern architectural trends, construction techniques, and smart technologies. Explore the use of AI-driven design tools, BIM (Building Information Modeling), and IoT-enabled building solutions. 8. Documentation & Reporting Prepare technical drawings, construction documents, and project specifications. Maintain proper records of design changes, approvals, and progress reports. Generate detailed reports for clients, project managers, and stakeholders.Skills & Competencies Required1. Technical Skills Architectural Software: AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, Rhino, ArchiCAD, and Photoshop.
