Assisting in Architectural Design Support senior architects in conceptualizing, developing, and finalizing designs. Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, layouts, and presentations using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Lumion. Explore innovative design solutions while ensuring functionality, safety, and sustainability. Assist in creating mood boards, material palettes, and design concepts for client approvals. 2. Preparing Technical Drawings & Documentation Draft detailed architectural drawings, working plans, and construction documents. Ensure accuracy in measurements, sections, elevations, and layouts. Assist in the preparation of BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and technical specifications. Update drawings based on client feedback, consultant inputs, and site conditions. 3. Coordination with Project Teams Work closely with structural engineers, MEP consultants, interior designers, and contractors. Support project managers in coordinating design revisions and approvals. Participate in team meetings to discuss project updates, deadlines, and deliverables. Ensure that all stakeholders are aligned on the design intent and construction requirements. 4. Site Visits & Supervision Support Assist senior architects in site inspections to monitor progress and verify compliance with approved designs. Capture site measurements, photographs, and reports for design references. Identify construction issues and communicate them to the senior team for resolution. Ensure quality control and assist in selecting appropriate materials and finishes. 5. Client Interaction & Presentations Prepare client presentations, 3D walkthroughs, and design proposals. Attend client meetings along with senior architects to understand their vision and requirements. Incorporate client feedback into design iterations and proposals. 6. Research & Design Development Research new materials, construction technologies, and sustainable solutions. Stay updated with architectural trends, design innovations, and building codes. Assist in exploring cost-effective and eco-friendly design alternatives.Skills & Competencies Required1. Technical Skills Architectural Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, 3ds Max, Photoshop, and MS Office. BIM Knowledge: Basic understanding of Building Information Modeling tools is an added advantage. 3D Visualization: Ability to create realistic renders, walkthroughs, and concept designs. Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and detailing. 2. Design Skills Strong aesthetic sense and creativity in developing architectural concepts. Ability to translate ideas into practical and functional designs. Understanding of space planning, proportions, and ergonomics. 3. Project Coordination Skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines under supervision. Organized approach to documentation and design revisions. Good collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams. 4. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills Capability to identify design-related challenges and suggest workable solutions.
