Role Overview:

We are looking for a Cluster Head North to lead our sourcing and vendor management operations in the region. This role will drive end-to-end sourcing across fabrics, trims, and materials, while ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and high quality. The person will be responsible for building strong supplier relationships, optimizing sourcing processes, and aligning with business needs for scale.

Key Responsibilities:

- End-to-End Sourcing: Lead sourcing of fabrics, trims, and other raw materials from supplier identification to delivery.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with mills, suppliers, and vendors across the North cluster.
- Negotiations & Costing: Drive competitive cost negotiations while ensuring quality and compliance.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all materials meet technical, compliance, and sustainability standards.
- Process Ownership: Oversee purchase orders, lead times, and supply chain timelines for smooth operations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, merchandising, and production teams to align sourcing with business and seasonal requirements.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a regional sourcing team, driving efficiency and accountability.
- Market Intelligence: Track fabric/trims trends, availability, pricing, and new developments in the North cluster market.

Skills and Qualifications:

- 1012 years of experience in sourcing in apparel.
- Strong vendor network across North India.
- Expertise in fabric and trims technicalities, costing, and quality parameters.
- Proven negotiation skills with ability to deliver cost-effective sourcing.
- Knowledge of compliance, sustainability, and ethical sourcing standards.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process orientation.
