Job Summary:

The person hired for this position will be part of a team whose objective and responsibility are providing Atlassian Tool maintenance and support in the Digital Product Center of Excellence. This position's primary responsibility is to support 3M Divisions and Labs in their use of all Atlassian products including on premise and cloud offerings of Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Fisheye, Jira Service Desk, and all plug-ins for these products.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Perform varied and complex duties and tasks that require independent judgment to implement, support and maintain Microsoft, Linux, AWS, Server and Cloud versions of Atlassian products and technology
- Provide assistance and consultation to other infrastructure and applications groups and work within cross-functional teams
- Participate in the planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance monitoring of Atlassian Tools
- Administer and maintain Jira software, including configuration, customization, and integration with other tools.
- Manage Jira projects, workflows, permissions, and schemes to ensure optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that support business processes.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Develop and deliver training programs and documentation for Jira users to enhance their proficiency and productivity.
- Implement best practices for Jira usage and continuously improve system efficiency and effectiveness.
- Generate and analyze reports to provide insights into project progress, resource allocation, and operational metrics.
- Stay updated with the latest Jira features and industry trends to recommend and implement improvements.

Basic Qualifications:

We need an excellent communicator with strong problem resolution skills who thrives on working in a team environment. In addition, we require:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferred
- Minimum five (5) years IT professional experience
- Minimum three(3) years Atlassian tools support experience
- ITIL experience
- Ability to multi-task and handle large workloads under time constraints
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and team collaboration skills

Secondary Qualifications:

- Incident Management, Change Management.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and team collaboration skills
- Basic knowledge of SQL database artifacts
