Parallax Luxury, and its venture Courtside in Worli is looking for a Head Chef, leading line kitchen to deliver consistently high-quality food, spearhead administrative abilities and deliver delightful guest experiences. In addition to duties mentioned below, we work best with chefs who focus on continuous improvement and possess a strong knack of leadership. Our work environment facilitates exposure to fresh, constantly evolving culinary experiences to grow your learning and professional landscape. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Responsible for supervising junior chefs or commis and developing line cooks with strong independence, palettes and leadership qualities. 2. Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times. 3. Implementation of all SOPs pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation per FSSAI standards. 4. Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning. 5. Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment. 6. Establish and maintain effective inter-departmental working relationships. 7. Demonstrate excellent knowledge of menu creation, whilst maintaining quality and controlling costs in a volume food business. 8. Demonstrate a multi-skilled ability to handle and manage and float between various kitchen sections as per demand. 9. Possess the ability to produce own work in accordance with a deadline and to assist and encourage others in achieving this aim. Pre-requisites: 1. Hotel Management Graduate or Culinary Degree with minimum 3 years certification. 2. 7 Years of general experience with 1 year of role-specific experience. 3.
