As we expand, we’re looking for passionate culinary professionals to join our growing team. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Chef at Idli Curry Co, located in Vikhroli, Mumbai . The Head Chef will lead daily kitchen operations, ensure taste consistency, and uphold high-quality standards for South Indian dishes both veg and non veg. Responsibilities include: · Leading and supervising the kitchen team · Managing production schedules and daily operations · Ensuring all SOPs, hygiene , and food safety standards are followed · Overseeing inventory, costing, and vendor coordination · Innovating and refining menu items to improve efficiency and flavour · Maintaining kitchen discipline, cleanliness, and equipment health · Working closely with management to streamline operations and scale production Qualification · Strong experience in South Indian cuisine (mandatory)· Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a senior kitchen leadership role · Expertise in menu planning , recipe standardization, and food presentation · Excellent leadership and team management skills · Strong understanding of kitchen operations , workflow, and staff training · Good organizational skills : inventory control, cost management, and maintaining hygiene standards · Creativity and innovation in improving recipes and processes · Strong communication and problem-solving abilities · Culinary certifications are preferred · Minimum 3–5 years of relevant kitchen experience
