Role s and Responsibilities -xe2x97x8f Conduct research relevant to new project leads project developers project owners relevant regulatory regimes policies related to carbon projects and process requirements of carbon and sustainability standards CDM UNFCCC VCS Verra I-REC The Gold Standard GCC CERCARBONO etc xe2x97x8f Help in leading project sourcing activities and business development identification assessment and contracting in the local region and support existing projects with respect to the carbon market xe2x97x8f Preparation and allocation of new captured opportunities to sales team through internal external sources xe2x97x8f Proactively pursue new business and sales opportunities xe2x97x8f Assisting your manager in preparing sales reports xe2x97x8f Work with internal departments such as the Marketing teams to engage audiences and clients more deeply xe2x97x8f Work with stakeholders of local carbon marketsxe2x97x8f Ensure that sourcing flows and processes including documentation and interaction with other teams are in line with the company guidelines xe2x97x8f Understand client needs gather market intelligence and identify industry trends xe2x97x8f Assistance to manage clients portfolio across the region xe2x97x8f Help in the representation of EKI as business development environmental market consultant in client meetings exhibitions and other corporate events and assist in the representation of EKI Energy in different forums on environmental markets xe2x97x8f Work closely with colleagues across the organization to empower matrix teams that deliver on our vision of climate action for all xe2x97x8f Develop a list of potential clients in key industries defined within the teams mandate xe2x97x8f Support the business development team in developing strategies and planning with specific actions pertaining different project types e g renewable energy and or waste management and or Agriculture Forestry and Other Land Uses - AFOLU or other kind of projects Requirementsxe2x97x8f Experience with at-least 1 years in a similar role or the industry like Climate Change are considered as good fit xe2x97x8f University degree in Environmental Sciences Engineering or another relevant discipline xe2x97x8f Experience in project identification and screening for potential leads xe2x97x8f Knowledge and expertise in environmental markets especially in voluntary carbon markets VCS VERRA I-REC The Gold Standard GCC CERCARBONO etc xe2x97x8f Knowledge of carbon products and markets preferably including one or more of the following CDM UNFCCC VCS VERRA I-REC The Gold Standard GCC CERCARBONO etc xe2x97x8f Experience in scaling up a fast-growing organization in the context of a highly competitive market environment xe2x97x8f Fluent in local language and English xe2x97x8f Capacity to work independently and remotely xe2x97x8f Professionalism Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
