About the Role Grade Level for internal use 12We are looking for a highly motivated individual to help transform our platforms though IaC automated configuration management and integrated observability The senior Cloud Engineer will help drive and transform the client environment to the AWS Cloud Platform This individual will need strong solutions architecture design migration and administration DevOps experience within Amazon Web Services to help deliver an exceptional client experience Responsibilities Work with a team of Engineers to automate workflows and processes across multiple AWS environments Build AWS infrastructure using Terraform deployed via YAML based pipelines Build Cloud Native automation to monitor health quality and compliance of product using Microservices patterns Build CI CD enabled pipelines for the deployment of automation work products Build SRE tools and dashboards for observability Manage source control including GIT Participate In peer review processes Design and build various orchestration tools to automate workloads and processes in AWS Assist in the development of processes and practices as it relates to the migration of workloads to AWS Collaborate with product teams and make recommendations for better cloud alignment Help in identifying and documenting application and infrastructure enhancements to improve overall performance and client experiences Respond to operational incidents and address correct issues found to restore services Assist in developing and implementing DevOps best practices Skills Requirements 12 years of DevOps or similar infrastructure-based experience Understanding of DevOps practices and ability to work in a strong team Strong AWS working knowledge preferable AWS Solutions Architect Associate or DevOps certification Strong working experience on infrastructure automation using terraform Knowledge of industry best practices around Information Security Windows Operations and AWS Public Cloud technologies Preferable good working knowledge of Azure DevOps Strong Kubernetes deployment and management experience Strong Ansible experience Strong understanding of source control and GIT Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Strong understanding of scripting tools and technologies specifically YAML PowerShell and JSON Basic understanding of Linux Strong scripting ability
