the only U S airline in the top 155 TIME s award is based on three criteria employee satisfaction revenue growth and sustainability Delta s people-first culture continues to be recognized earning the airline a spot on Fortune s 100 Best Companies to Work For list for the fifth year Delta is the only airline included on the 2024 list Additionally Delta earned a coveted spot on Fast Company s list of the Most Innovative Companies climbing from its No 8 spot in 2023 to No 2 in the travel category The airline was recognized for its Wi-Fi revolution that is working to ensure the future of travel is connected About the Delta Technology Hub DTH Bangalore Delta has fast emerged as a customer-focused innovation-led technology-enabled business The Delta Technology Hub will contribute directly to these objectives About Delta Tech Hub Delta Air Lines NYSE DAL is the U S global airline leader in safety innovation reliability and customer experience Powered by our employees around the world Delta has for a decade led the airline industry in operational excellence while maintaining our reputation for award-winning customer service With our mission of connecting the people and cultures of the globe Delta strives to foster understanding across a diverse world and serve as a force for social good Delta has fast emerged as a customer-oriented innovation-led technology-driven business The Delta Technology Hub will contribute directly to these objectives It will sustain our long-term aspirations of delivering niche IP-intensive high-value and innovative solutions It supports various teams and functions across Delta and is an integral part of our transformation agenda working seamlessly with a global team to create memorable experiences for customers RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and develop a diverse high-performing and innovative team of User Acceptance Testers including mentoring utilizing best practices as a people manager and organizational leader Build strong relationships with key partners across the enterprise in eCommerce Development and supporting areas Manage user acceptance testing and organizing meetings and supporting training efforts to ensure effectiveness of UAT initiatives Demonstrate a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and specifically UAT processes best practices and test methodologies Ability to think creatively about designing test scenarios and end-to-end testing Discover ways to improve defect mitigation across all levels of the organization Work closely with IT and cross-functional commercial and operational business teams to successfully drive execute and deliver on defect resolutions Oversee prioritization tracking validation and resolution of defects with the Product Manager s and the IT teams Advanced analytical and communication verbal and written skills including executive presence Ability to explain technical and business processes and articulate in-depth knowledge of Digital Operations user acceptance testing and defect management process to a wide audience WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS A Bachelor s degree in Business or Technology discipline or related field and 6 years of work experience is required 4 years of experience in UAT QA Project Management Experience with SDLC and Agile Experience with tools such as Agility QLM QTest Familiarity with Defect Management Strong leadership skills written and oral communication skills positive attitude and able to manage change successfully in a fast-paced environment Proven track record of successfully working in a cross-departmental team environment and delivering results on time and on budget Training and experience in project management release management process optimization problem solving facilitation and internal external consulting is desired Must be a self-starter that can work independently Self-disciplined organized and team-oriented Positive attitude able to manage change successfully in a fast-paced environment Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of Delta Air Lines and or the airline industry travel landscape and consumer behavior Technical understanding of web mobile applications and UI design preferred Experience with Adobe Analytics Omniture Site Catalyst Quantum Metric a plus Experience with process improvement and streamlining based on new requirements Experience with end-to-end testing of large projects Experience with mainframe testing Familiar with cloud technologies Experience with Generative AI
