Job Specification - Private Investment Accounting Support

Role Overview
The role will support the Private Investment Accounting team by assisting with the monthly close process, collaborating with internal Point72 finance teams, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting process improvements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Help complete the month-end close process.

- Drive the monthly detailed expense review

- Booking fund level cash and expense entries in Geneva

- Independently calculate advisory fees, incentive fees, and investor returns and reconcile to system calculations.

- Complete cash reconciliations ensuring we are aligned with our PBs/Custodians

- Prepare month end NAV packs for manager review

- Reconcile internal month end NAV workpapers with fund administrator.

- Support investor allocation system (iCAT), including uploading capital activity and assuring P&L data is reflected correctly.
- Collaborate with internal Point72 finance teams to ensure timely and accurate deliverables. Collaborate with external administrator (SS&C) to communicate fund activity.
- Review and confirm daily NAV and P&L for Turion funds.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls.
- Assist with year-end financial audits.

Qualifications & Skills (Suggested)

- Knowledge in fund accounting (Closed and Open ended funds).
- Proficiency in reconciliation and month-end close processes.
- Detail-oriented
- Strong Excel skills experience with Geneva
