Job Title Business Development Engineer - Solar ELV SystemsLocation Edappal Kerala Department Business Development Sales EngineeringReporting To Business Development Manager Managing DirectorJob Summary The Business Development Engineer will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in the solar energy and ELV Extra Low Voltage system sectors The role requires a blend of technical knowledge and business development skills to engage clients prepare proposals and support project execution from concept to completion The ideal candidate must be proactive technically sound and capable of field-based client interactions Key Responsibilities Identify qualify and pursue new business opportunities in solar installation and ELV system projects CCTV access control networking etc Conduct site visits technical assessments and feasibility studies in coordination with the engineering team Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals quotations and BOQs Build and maintain strong relationships with customers consultants and contractors Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets and support the company s revenue objectives Liaise with internal design and project teams to ensure smooth project handover and execution Prepare marketing materials client presentations and participate in exhibitions and trade fairs Track and report market trends competitor activities and new business opportunities Ensure compliance with company policies client requirements and local regulations Qualifications and Skills Educational Qualification Diploma or Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Electronics Mechanical Engineering or related field Experience Minimum 2-5 years of experience in business development or technical sales within the solar or ELV industry Technical Skills Good understanding of solar PV systems on-grid off-grid hybrid Knowledge of ELV systems CCTV fire alarm access control structured cabling etc Strong communication presentation and negotiation skills Proficiency in MS Office tools working knowledge of AutoCAD PVsyst is an advantage Ability to work independently with a results-driven approach Valid driving license is mandatory Preferred Attributes Technically inclined with a passion for renewable energy and smart solutions Self-motivated disciplined and able to manage multiple clients and projects Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and site visits Compensation Attractive salary package with performance-based incentives fuel travel allowance and career growth opportunities Job Type Full-time Pay 13 619 32 - 250 000 00 per month Work Location In person
