Role Vision (57 Year Outlook) As the BizFin Lead, you'll drive the financial strategy and scalability of Opptra's Hardline (consumer durables: electronics, appliances, home goods) or Softline (fashion, beauty, lifestyle) categories. You will: - Develop financial frameworks to scale brands across Asia with sustainable margins. - Leverage AI-driven forecasting and data analytics to optimize pricing, demand planning, and inventory investments. - Establish robust financial governance for new product launches (01) and scaling initiatives (110). - Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decisions that enable faster market expansion. Key Responsibilities - Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for assigned product categories. - Collaborate with business heads on strategic growth initiatives, pricing models, and market entry strategies. - Implement cost control and margin optimization mechanisms across the value chain. - Use analytics tools (ERP, BI dashboards, AI-based forecasting) for real-time business insights. - Manage capital allocation, risk assessment, and cash flow planning to ensure scalability and profitability. - Partner with sales, operations, and product teams to align financial goals with business outcomes. Required Experience & Skills - 45 years of finance experience (FP&A, business finance, or category finance). - E-Commerce background is mandatory. - Strong exposure to consumer durables (Hardline) or retail / fashion / lifestyle (Softline) sectors. - Deep understanding of multi-channel retail and distribution across India, GCC, and SEA markets. - Proven track record of setting up and scaling financial processes in high-growth environments. - Advanced skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and profitability analysis. - Hands-on experience with ERP systems, automation tools, and data-driven decision-making. - Strategic mindset with problem-solving, ownership, and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
