Objective of the role:

Event manager is responsible for planning and overseeing events from concept to completion. Their role extends across corporate events, trade shows, exhibitions, weddings, and public gatherings etc.

Candidates from Mumbai only.

Responsibilities:

- Brainstorming creative concepts, designing themes, and selecting suitable venues.
- Collaborating with vendors to arrange catering, decorations, entertainment, and other event elements.
- Creating promotional materials and managing event publicity.
- Managing event budgets and tracking expenses.
- Coordinating venue setup, transportation, and technical requirements.
- Overseeing on-site operations, including staffing, registration, and guest management.
- Handling any last-minute changes or unexpected issues
- Negotiating contracts with vendors for various services.
- Managing relationships with suppliers and ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Supervise every aspect of the setup process on the event day, overseeing décor, lighting, seating, technical equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the event meets its objectives.
- Conducting post-event evaluations to assess event success.
- Gathering feedback from clients and guests to identify areas for improvement.
- Preparing reports summarizing the event and its outcomes.

Qualification & Skills:

- Candidates should have degree from the following stream, events management, business and management, hospitality management, hotel or catering management, leisure and tourism, marketing.
- 7+ years of Experience in the hospitality industry or in a sales, marketing or customer service role is also useful.
- Negotiation skills when looking for the best price from venues, suppliers and contractors
- Time-management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a busy, face-paced working environment to ensure the efficient running of an event.
