Job Description – Senior Manager, Events

Fractal is seeking a dynamic and experienced Events Specialist passionate about managing the entire event lifecycle - from strategy and execution to data-driven post-event analysis. You will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering world-class, engaging online and offline events that drive business impact and exceptional attendee experiences.

In this role, you will lead the end-to-end events strategy, collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, and use insights to continuously enhance event value and ROI. A strong focus on leveraging emerging technologies, sustainability, inclusivity, and innovative formats will be essential for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive end-to-end events strategy aligned with business goals and audience needs.
• Design and innovate event formats to maximize engagement and deliver unique value to our target audience (virtual and in-person).
• Continuously refresh the event value proposition, incorporating emerging trends and audience feedback to enhance relevance and impact.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape compelling event content and programming that resonates with diverse audiences.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors - including event agencies, creative partners, and virtual platform providers - to create seamless event experiences.
• Lead selection, evaluation, negotiation, and management of venues for physical events, ensuring logistical excellence and cost efficiency.
• Execute post-event analysis, measuring KPIs and ROI to drive continuous improvement across all event activities.
• Drive multi-channel content strategy and distribution pre-, during, and post-event to amplify reach and attendee engagement.
• Build and nurture strong cross-functional relationships to facilitate collaboration and alignment across teams.
• Oversee agency partnerships, budgeting, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Capture and implement constructive feedback for agencies and vendors to enhance future event execution.
• Embed sustainability and inclusivity best practices into all event planning and execution processes.
• Plan and manage event logistics proactively, with risk mitigation and contingency plans to ensure smooth delivery.

Basic Qualifications

• 6 - 8 years of proven experience in managing end-to-end events in a B2B technology or services environment or agency setting.
• Demonstrated success managing events across offline and online formats.
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple complex priorities smoothly.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, engaging effectively with senior leaders and external partners alike.
• Self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and confident presentation abilities.
• Proficient in virtual event platforms and digital engagement tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or data analysis tools to support post-event measurement and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in planning and delivering events in the global markets.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Marketo, or equivalent CRM and marketing automation platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-driven personalization tools and emerging technologies to enhance attendee experience.
• Proven ability to adapt quickly to evolving event tech trends and integrate innovative solutions into event strategy.
