As a Sales Executive – Diagnostics based in Patna, you will be the driving force behind achieving our sales targets and expanding our market presence in your territory. You will manage the entire sales cycle, from strategic planning and market analysis to distribution management and execution of promotional activities, ensuring Roche's diagnostic solutions reach and benefit more patients. The Opportunity You will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of sales strategies for your territory: - Contribute to Territory Planning by providing critical insights on the market environment, estimating product demand, and submitting distributor inventory requirements to the Area Sales Manager (ASM). - Execute Sales Promotion Plans through field activation programs, merchandising, and other marketing-designed activities, meticulously recording activities and measuring sales efficacy. - Drive Sales Achievement by ensuring the monthly target is met for specific SKUs and generating consistent secondary sales within the market. - Manage and Optimize the Distribution Network by monitoring distributor performance, proposing new appointments or terminations as needed, and continuously motivating distributors and dealers through regular communication and addressing their concerns. - Ensure Timely Collections by continuous follow-ups on accounts. - Provide Market Intelligence by closely monitoring competitor activities in the territory and reporting insights to the ASM. - Act as a Key Link between distributors/customers and customer care by promptly addressing and forwarding complaints/suggestions. - Maintain Operational Excellence by ensuring daily reporting of customer visits as per work norms. Who You Are You are a proactive and results-oriented professional with a strong understanding of sales and distribution management: - You have a relevant Bachelor’s degree (e.g., Business Administration, Science, or a related field). - You have 1–3 years of experience in sales, preferably within the healthcare, diagnostics, or pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of meeting targets. - You possess excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels. - You are highly organized and adept at planning, executing, and monitoring field activities and promotional programs. - You are proficient in data reporting and analysis, able to generate insights from sales data and competitor information. - You are customer-focused and skilled in building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and customers. - You are comfortable with extensive fieldwork and dedicated to an office-based role when not on the field, maintaining a disciplined approach to daily reporting and work norms.
