As a Team Lead within our Engineering department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality of our products. You will lead a skilled team dedicated to maintaining and improving our gaming solutions, contributing to our reputation for outstanding execution. What You'll Do - Manage test teams to promote quality engineering guidelines, including test strategy, preparation, and execution. - Provide leadership and mentorship on work scope and dependencies to meet test requirements. - Identify and communicate risks to collaborators, offering technical assessments as needed. - Collaborate closely with Game Development teams, including Game Designers, Artists, and Software Engineers, to resolve issues found during test cycles. - Work with Compliance and regulatory agencies during pre-compliance test phases to identify requirements and resolve issues. - Apply defect tracking tools for reporting and tracking issues clearly and concisely until closure. - Provide detailed bug analysis and assist developers with debugging. - Monitor the overall project health, ensuring compliance with testing guidelines and established procedures. - Set up and configure test setups and fixtures for games, testing independently as required. - Identify and analyze game performance and memory issues, capturing core dumps/logs using appropriate tools. - Suggest improvements to the overall testing process, including tools, processes, and test cases. What We're Looking For - Engineering degree (MCA, BE, or B.Tech) with at least 9 years in quality and testing, 3 years in team leadership. - Outstanding practical software testing abilities with a detailed comprehension of industry guidelines and methodologies. - Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with global collaborators. - Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging and working closely with team members and collaborators. - Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA. - Previous background in the gaming sector is desirable.
