Job Category Enterprise Technology Degree Level Bachelor s Degree or equivalent At Ford Motor Company we believe freedom of movement drives human progress We also believe in providing you with the freedom to define and realize your dreams With our incredible plans for the future of mobility we have a wide variety of opportunities for you to accelerate your career potential as you help us define tomorrow s transportation As a key member of our Enterprise Technology group you ll play a critical part in shaping the future of mobility If you re looking for the chance to leverage advanced technology to redefine the transportation landscape enhance the customer experience and improve people s lives this is the opportunity for you Join us and challenge your IT expertise and analytical skills to help create vehicles that are as smart as you are We are the movers of the world and the makers of the future We get up every day roll up our sleeves and build a better world together At Ford we re all a part of something bigger than ourselves Are you ready to change the way the world moves The Integrated Services Software Team is looking for a talented and experienced Technical Product Manager to join our team and lead the development enhancement and extension of our Fleet Management platform This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping product roadmaps collaborating with cross-functional teams defining strategy and where we go and driving the delivery of innovative features to meet the evolving needs of our customers In this position As a Technical Product Manager you will not directly lead people but you will play a crucial part in creating clarity for our teams to execute The ideal candidate understands that speaking is the least effective way to be heard plans exceptionally well thinks about outcomes as a matter of habit and then figures out how we get there and has experience balancing all these at scale However above all the ideal candidate knows how to dream and is well versed in helping people plan from a dream to a reality The ideal candidate will be a multifaceted professional who blends technical expertise analytical thinking and business acumen to extract knowledge and insights from data Responsibilities What you ll do Manage the technical implementation of Fleet Management products Drive the lifecycle of a product from ideation using user research to launch and land success metrics and continue iterating on the product to improve your user s journey Obsess over areas of the user experience and pain points Write compelling Technical Product Requirement Documents PRDs Partner closely with Product User Experience UX and other cross functional teams to create drive and deliver an innovative compelling and user-friendly experience to your user Qualifications You ll have Bachelor s degree in engineering in fields like computer science electronics or similar 5 years of Product Management experience 3 years experience directly working with technical teams engineers Ability to prioritize manage multiple assignments and deliver with minimal supervision Strong cross-functional relationship building and communication skills Even better you may have Experience collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders across various functions like engineering UX UI sales etc and organizational levels including in matrixed structures Proven ability to translate product vision into actionable engineering technical requirements and workflows driving the development of technical products such as large-scale systems or consumer mobile applications Familiarity with fleet management connected vehicle services or cloud technologies A customer-centric mindset coupled with strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and passionate about fostering inclusion
