Responsibilities Roles and Responsibilities Lead and manage electrical projects from start to finish ensuring adherence to timelines budget quality and safety standards Collaborate with internal teams external vendors and contractors to coordinate project activities Develop project plans including scope goals deliverables resources required and budgets Expertise in construction of electrical BTG BOP and other packages in thermal power plant Monitor and report on project progress identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies Oversee the selection and procurement of materials equipment and resources for projects Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards Provide technical guidance and expertise to project team members Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and quality Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate project updates effectively Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in project management Behavioural Skills Strong leadership and team management abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving mindset with a focus on results Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment Strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities Technical Skills Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices Proficiency in project management tools and software Experience with electrical design installation and commissioning processes Understanding of power systems substations and electrical infrastructure Non-Negotiable Skills Proven experience in electrical project management Demonstrated leadership in overseeing large-scale projects Strong technical acumen in electrical engineering Qualifications Education Qualification Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Master s degree in Electrical Engineering or Project Management preferred Experience Minimum of 16-20 years of experience in the Power Energy industry Demonstrated track record of successful electrical project management Experience in overseeing large-scale electrical projects from conception to completion Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive project deliverables
