Responsibilities Roles and Responsibilities The Deputy General Manager - Mechanical Structure will be responsible for Leading the design development and implementation of mechanical structures for power and energy projects Providing technical expertise and guidance on mechanical engineering principles and best practices Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and successful completion of projects Managing budget resources and timelines to meet project objectives Overseeing quality control processes to maintain high standards of workmanship Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project efficiency Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards Developing and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and capabilities Behavioural Skills Strong leadership and decision-making abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving and analytical thinking Ability to work effectively in a team environment Adaptability and resilience in challenging situations Technical Skills Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools Experience with structural analysis and modeling techniques Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards Project management skills with a focus on delivering results Non-Negotiable Skills Strong leadership skills with proven experience in managing teams In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Qualifications Education Qualification Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering or related field Master s degree preferred Experience Minimum of 16-22 years of experience in the Power Energy industry Demonstrated track record of success in managing mechanical structure projects Experience in leading and developing teams to achieve project goals
