We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie (CDP) specializing in Indian cuisine to join our culinary team. As a CDP, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the preparation and execution of high-quality Indian dishes, maintaining consistency in flavor profiles, presentation, and portioning. Your creativity, attention to detail, and expertise in Indian cooking techniques will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes according to recipes and standards set by the Head Chef.
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and costing for Indian cuisine.
- Ensure the freshness, quality, and proper storage of ingredients used in Indian recipes.
- Oversee the mise en place for Indian stations, including organizing and stocking ingredients and equipment.
- Monitor food inventory and communicate with the Sous Chef regarding stock levels and ordering requirements for Indian ingredients.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Indian cooking techniques, recipes, and plating standards.
- Adhere to all sanitation and food safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop seasonal menus and special promotions featuring Indian cuisine.
- Stay updated on current trends and innovations in Indian cuisine, incorporating new ideas into menu development when appropriate.
- Assist in maintaining kitchen equipment and facilities, reporting any issues to the Head Chef or maintenance team.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie or Line Cook specializing in Indian cuisine.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian culinary traditions, spices, and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Formal culinary training or relevant certification preferred.
- Food Handler's certification or equivalent required.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
- Positive attitude, creativity, and passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
