**A Day in the Life **:To achieve territory growth targets for Hernia therapies in Hospitals & referral centers and educating the Nursers and support groups.
To execute strategic sales activities undertaken as part of a Business Planning model.
Provide surgical coverage, Case support for Hernia, product and therapy training and education to new and existing centers and leverage customer contact to grow the existing business/accounts.
To ensure that the Company’s agreed quality standards are maintained about its products, procedures, policies, operations and customer contact.
**Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.**:
- **Revenue Responsibility**:
- **Responsible for achieving sales target in terms of product units and revenue and increase total company market share in assigned territory.**:
- **Support in creating and implementing an annual business plan with quarterly updates.**:
- **Ensure coverage of all accounts based on customer segmentation within territory in agreement with the manager to maintain optimum level of exposure.**:
- **Maintain and expand existing business and develop new business opportunities.**:
- **Business Management**:
- **Seek new customers and formulate and follow up plans for such action as directed by the Sales Manager.**:
- **Work with existing key centers to develop and implement strategies to move accounts towards center of excellence for Hernia Solutions.**:
- **Develop Sales strategies and execute same within the Sales Force Effectiveness model.**:
- **Conduct required training for new accounts on all therapies.**:
- **Sell specified therapies to Surgeons, institutions, payers, and other medical staff.**:
- **Customer Management**:
- **Provide Coverage, Case support for Hernia portfolio in the assigned Territory.**:
- **Conduct customer in-services for new and existing accounts.**:
- **Develop relationships with Surgeons and hospital administration staff to ensure both clinical and non-clinical needs are identified and met.**:
- **Develop ethical, positive long-term customer relationships.**:
- **Satisfy customer complaints in accordance with Medtronic policy and to advise Sales Manager promptly of any situation beyond scope of authority.**:
**SALES PROFESSIONAL CAREER STREAM**:Typically sales professional individual contributors with direct sales responsibilities. May direct the work of other lower level sales professionals or manage sales processes and / or accounts involving multiple team members. The majority of time is spent establishing and maintaining customer relationships, developing new customer relationships, implementing sales strategies and closing sales.**:
