**Your Role in Our Story: Tandoor Chef**
As a **Tandoor Chef** at TEHPL, you will be responsible for maintaining the authenticity and precision of our tandoor cuisine. You’ll work closely with the kitchen team to ensure the high standards of TEHPL’s culinary offerings are met, especially when it comes to traditional tandoor cooking methods.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and cook tandoori dishes including kebabs, breads, and meats using traditional tandoor ovens.
- Ensure the proper marination and seasoning of ingredients for tandoori dishes, following the recipes and standards set by the Head Chef.
- Monitor and maintain the tandoor at the correct temperatures for different dishes.
- Work alongside the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and presentation of dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the tandoor station, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist in managing inventory for the tandoor section, ensuring availability of key ingredients such as spices, marinades, and charcoal.
- Ensure that the food quality is consistently high and portions are correct, reflecting the excellence expected at TEHPL.
**Who We Are Looking For**:
- **Expertise in Tandoor Cuisine**: Strong understanding of tandoor cooking techniques with hands-on experience in a professional kitchen.
- **Passion for Indian Cuisine**: Enthusiastic about delivering authentic Indian dishes with precision and flair.
- **Detail-oriented**: Able to follow recipes exactly and ensure consistency in taste, appearance, and quality.
- **Team Player**: Work well with others in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years in a tandoor chef role, ideally within a high-end restaurant or hotel environment.
- **Education**: Culinary training with a focus on Indian cuisine is a plus.
