Front Desk Receptionist

**Overview**: The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing a welcoming atmosphere and efficient service. This role involves managing various administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations within the organization.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Customer Service**:
- Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer phone calls, directing them to the appropriate departments or taking messages as needed.
**Administrative Support**:
- Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Maintain an organized and tidy reception area.
**Appointment Scheduling**:
- Schedule and manage appointments for staff members and maintain calendars.
- Coordinate meeting rooms and assist with necessary arrangements.
**Information Management**:
- Provide information about the organization’s services, programs, and policies to visitors and clients.
- Handle inquiries and resolve issues or direct them to the appropriate personnel.
**Mail and Package Handling**:
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Prepare outgoing mail and packages as needed.
**Security and Access Control**:
- Monitor access to the building and maintain security protocols.
- Issue visitor badges and manage sign-in sheets.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in office administration or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and office equipment (phones, printers, etc.).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
