Job Title: Junior Administration and Accounting Officer
Role & Responsibilities:
Administrative Tasks:
- Schedule appointments and meetings, and maintain calendars for senior staff members.
- Prepare and distribute memos, letters, and other company documents.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining files and records.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for staff members, as required.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents.
Accounting Tasks:
- Process and record invoices, bills, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Assist in the coordination of financial audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors on a monthly basis
- Assist in the preparation of budgeting and forecasting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 4-6 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably with exposure to basic accounting tasks.
- Strong knowledge of administrative procedures and practices.
- Proficient in using accounting software like Tally, Zoho books and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with coordinating audits and working with auditors is a plus.
