As the Business Development Manager for Solidworks sales, you will play a key role in identifying and capturing new business opportunities. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective clients, creating and delivering compelling presentations and proposals, and negotiating and closing deals. You will collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams, as well as directly engage with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.

**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the engineering and design industry
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline of potential clients
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of Solidworks
- Prepare and present tailored proposals and pricing to potential clients
- Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring profitable contracts for the organization
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering is required
- Masters in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
- 1-2 Years of Relevant experience as BDM/BDE in Solidworks sales
- Proven experience in a B2B technology sales role, preferably in the engineering or design industry
- Strong knowledge of Solidworks or other similar 3D modeling and CAD design software
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets
- Willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend industry events
