**Job description**

Payroll Executive is responsible for managing the payroll processes of our clients using the latest tools and our processes. Their core job involves error free processing of payroll and compliance with the applicable labor laws.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collect, calculate, and verify employee time and attendance data, including overtime, leaves, bonuses, and deductions.
- Prepare and process payroll accurately and on time using payroll software and processes.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, Income Tax and client company policies. Also stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and make necessary adjustments to payroll processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, bank details, tax exemptions, and employment contracts.
- Administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other deductions. Ensure accurate and timely deductions from employee paychecks and coordinate with relevant vendors or agencies.
- Prepare payroll reports, including payroll summaries, tax reports, Professional Tax, Provident Fund, ESI reports and applicable compliances.
- Generate MIS reports for each of the clients as required by their management, HR, and accounting departments.
- Address and resolve employee payroll queries, discrepancies, and issues promptly and professionally. Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments of clients to resolve complex payroll matters.
- Handle Travel cards, Travel reload cards, Record travel expenses and reconcile periodically for the travel expenses incurred by clients employees for their onsite jobs at various countries.
- Handle IDF’s validations with the profs under Old Tax Regime for clients employees and guard the client with misreporting and guide the employees with correct interpretation of income tax law.
- Assist in payroll audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance. Prepare and provide necessary documentation and reports to auditors and regulatory authorities.
- Support the maintenance and improvement of payroll systems and software. Collaborate with IT or vendors to troubleshoot issues, implement updates, and enhance system functionality.
- Identify areas for process improvement and automation within the payroll function. Propose and implement efficient and effective payroll practices, tools, and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- A Management Post graduate in finance, accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in payroll administration or a similar role.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations, indian tax laws, and indian labor laws.
- Familiarity with payroll software and systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel and other relevant software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Multi tasking skills with ability to interplay between finances, taxes and payroll.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
