Assembling and plating sushi, sashimi, maki rolls and other fare Preparing sushi: Using traditional Japanese techniques and fresh ingredients, prepare and assemble sushi dishes like nigiri and maki rolls.
- Managing ingredients: Order, quality check, and inventory fresh ingredients.
- Maintaining quality: Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients, and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Presenting dishes: Create visually appealing and authentic sushi presentations.
- Communicating: Communicate with wait staff to ensure special requests and food allergies are met.
- Maintaining cleanliness: Keep the kitchen clean and sterile all utensils, instruments, and surfaces used for food preparation.
- Supporting the team: Collaborate with kitchen staff, supervise apprentices and kitchen helpers, and answer to the head chef.
- Researching: Research competitors to determine pricing and stay abreast of the latest culinary trends.
- Managing the menu: Put together a sushi menu that incorporates a variety of Japanese dishes.
- Preparing whole fish into filets and smaller pieces for use in dishes.
- Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi dishes, including traditional rolls, sashimi, and nigiri.
- Create and introduce new and innovative sushi dishes while maintaining classic favorites.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
