At Mishthalay, a progressive sweet shop in Nashik, we are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Chef de Partie / Halwai Chef to join our team.
**Job Description**:
- Prepare a variety of traditional and innovative sweets and desserts while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Assist in developing new recipes and menu items to showcase our distinctive treats.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Uphold proper food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain kitchen equipment in good working condition.
- Collaborate with the head chef to create a memorable and delightful sweet shop experience for our customers.
- Stay updated on industry trends and participate in training to enhance culinary skills.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Halwai Chef, with a focus on Indian sweets and desserts.
- Strong knowledge of traditional and contemporary sweet-making techniques.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for creating delicious and visually appealing desserts.
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is a plus.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
