Accounting Administrative Assistant

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Generate financial reports and assist with financial analysis as needed.
- Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders to resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues.
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc tasks as assigned.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance role preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) is a plus.
