RESPONSIBILITIES
- Highly skilled in preparing traditional North Indian dishes
- Creating menus that reflect authentic North Indian cuisine while also offering variety and innovation to appeal to modern tastes.
- In-depth knowledge of North Indian spices, herbs, and ingredients, including their traditional uses and potential substitutions
- Ensuring that all food preparation meets safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
- Supervising kitchen staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring smooth operations during service hours.
- Ability to innovate and create new dishes while staying true to the authenticity of South Indian cuisine.
- Effective communication with kitchen staff, management, and sometimes customers, to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
- Being able to adapt recipes and cooking techniques to accommodate dietary restrictions or preferences of customers.
Qualifications:
- 3 -5 years experience working in North Indian cuisine-focused kitchens or restaurants.
- Formal culinary training from a recognized culinary school or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of regional variations within North Indian cuisine.
- Expert in Nawabi and Mughlai Dishes
- Location - Kochi, Angamaly. Thrissur, Trivandrum, Munnar, Kuttanellur.
