**JOB DESCRIPTION FOR SALES ADVISOR**

**Job brief**

We are looking to hire an outgoing and customer-oriented sales advisor to drive sales and ensure that customers have a pleasant shopping experience. The sales advisor’s responsibilities include greeting customers on call, offering assistance, taking inventory of store products, and bagging customers' purchases. You should also be able to identify customers' needs and recommend store products accordingly.

To be successful as a sales advisor, you should be courteous to all customers and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, an outstanding sales advisor should demonstrate exemplary communication and consultative sales skills as well as achieve excellent customer service at all times.

**Responsibilities**:

- Approach customers and offer them advice on products to persuade them to buy.
- Provide information and other services such as handling returns of products.
- Locate products on behalf of customers
- Deal with complaints in a patient and helpful manner
- Take and record orders through a computer system over the phone.
- Update customer information in databases
- Go the “extra mile” to meet targets
- Monitor shelves inventory and unload new products when needed
- Operate cash registers and close daily revenues

Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as sales advisor or other customer service/sales role
- Tech savvy with working knowledge of computer systems and databases
- Able to balance a customer-oriented and a results-driven approach
- Patient and comfortable dealing with complaints
- Professionalism and outgoing personality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Good physical endurance
- Graduate or equivalent

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
