The Role:
As an Assistant in the Hardware (HW) Department at Logitech, based in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in supporting various administrative and operational activities. Your expertise in contract management, budget oversight, shipment tracking, internship coordination, and onboarding new hires will be essential in ensuring smooth and effective departmental operations.

In this role, you will:
- Manage the Contingent Workforce Resource (CWR) invoices, overseeing renewals and resolving any disputes efficiently.
- Coordinate shipments, provide customs clearance guidance, assess shipment methods, and maintain shipment lists.
- Coordinate internship programs, including interview scheduling, orientation sessions, evaluations, and reward programs.
- Set up workspaces for new hires, provide facility tours, and arrange introduction meetings with key stakeholders.
- Plan and organize team-building activities, social events, and outings, managing budgets and coordinating with vendors.
- Manage visitor appointments and travel arrangements.
- Follow up on procurement activities to ensure timely delivery and compliance.
- Manage lab procurement, vendor relationships, and inventory at the site level.
- Coordinate with different stakeholders within hardware team for employee related workshop and training
- Work on site related activities as and when required
Key Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills and behaviors:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in administrative or related roles.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
In addition, preferable skills and behaviors include:
- Experience in budget management and contract negotiations.
- Familiarity with shipment coordination and customs clearance processes.
- Experience in organizing team-building activities and events.
- Strong vendor management and procurement follow-up skills.
**Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
