The Business Writer is a member of the Proposal Expertise Center who writes and edits proposals, RFx responses, sales collateral, and supports the overall proposal process. Also works closely with the Proposal Manager, Sales Directors, and the Response team to help articulate the sales messages, structure the proposal and ensure the overall quality, consistency, and integrity of the written response. This role ensures compliance with Amdocs policies and standards.

**What will your job look like?**:
1.Provide guidance to the Response team based on an understanding of the proposal preparation processand experience with previous sales projects.
2.Work with the Proposal Manager to identify the documentation deliverables and drafts, and maintain theTable of Contents.
3.Assist the Proposal Manager with tracking the status of each deliverable and reporting on open issues.
4.Set up and distribute initial draft response documents into which the responses are consolidated.
5.Provide responses to general business and vendor questions.
6.Write and/or edit the Executive Summary in consultation with the CBE/SD to enhance the business salesmessaging content of the document, and add graphical elements to make the document more readableand compelling.
7.Prepare the Executive Summary and Cover Letter in conjunction with the Bid-Response Specialist (withinput from the Relationship Sales, Sales Leader, and others).
8.Write the Cover Letter based on legal entity assignment provided by the Tax department and inconsultation with the CBE/SD.
9.Work closely with the Proposal Manager to draft the information in the Amdocs commercial proposals inaccordance with Finance and Legal standards.
10.Edit/rewrite technical, functional, delivery, and other related responses.
11.Ensure that all collateral presented by Sales to customers is well-written and complies with Amdocs’ styleguide, standards, and legal and financial regulations, thereby presenting Amdocs in a highly professionalmanner.
12.Oversee the production and on-time delivery of printed or CD copies of the proposal, including final qualitychecks, printing, binding, packaging, and shipping.

2. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for interfacing with all Response Team stakeholders.
3. Problem solving.
4. Organizational skills and time management.
5. Native English speaker.
