Events Staff

**Job Summary**:
Location: Dombivali
Experience: 1-3 years
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Event Setup and Teardown**:
- Assist with event setup, including arranging tables, chairs, signage, decorations, and AV equipment as per event requirements.
- Help with teardown and cleanup after events, ensuring the venue is returned to its original state.
- Coordinate with the event planning team to ensure all equipment and materials are ready before the event.
- **Guest Services and Support**:
- Welcome attendees, verify tickets or registrations, and provide information or directions as needed.
- Distribute materials, such as programs, brochures, or promotional items.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints, escalating issues to the event supervisor if necessary.
- **Logistics and Venue Management**:
- Manage entry points, direct guest flow, and ensure smooth crowd control during high-traffic periods.
- Support seating arrangements and guide attendees to assigned seats or areas.
- Assist in monitoring event areas, ensuring the safety and comfort of guests throughout the event.
- **Vendor and Staff Coordination**:
- Liaise with vendors and performers, providing necessary support to facilitate setup and performance requirements.
- Assist catering staff with serving, replenishing food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas.
- Collaborate with the event team to ensure smooth operations and efficient issue resolution.
- **Safety and Compliance**:
- Monitor event areas for any potential safety hazards and report issues to the event supervisor.
- Ensure adherence to venue policies and event regulations, including health and safety protocols.
- Assist with emergency procedures and help direct guests to safe locations in case of an emergency.
- **Event Activities and Engagement**:
- Assist with event activities, such as managing games, contests, or other interactive components.
- Encourage guest participation and engagement, promoting a positive and enjoyable event atmosphere.
- Support other event activities, such as raffles, registration, or photo booths.
**Key Qualifications**:
- **Education**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional event or hospitality training is a plus.
- **Experience**:
- Previous experience in event support, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
- Experience working with diverse audiences in a dynamic or fast-paced environment is beneficial.
- **Skills**:
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods and lift/move equipment when needed.
- Adaptability, with the ability to handle a range of tasks effectively.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
