**Role Overview**:
As an **Office Assistant / Office Boy**, you will provide general support to ensure the smooth functioning of the office on a day-to-day basis. This includes performing administrative tasks, handling office maintenance, assisting staff, and ensuring that office operations run efficiently. You will also be responsible for handling small errands, filing, and maintaining cleanliness in office spaces.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **General Office Support**:
- Assist with daily office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, filing, and faxing documents.
- Distribute and collect mail, packages, and documents to appropriate staff members or departments.
- Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and refreshments to staff and guests as required.
- **Office Maintenance**:
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of office spaces, including meeting rooms, workstations, and common areas.
- Keep track of office supplies (stationery, pantry items, etc.) and inform the administration when restocking is needed.
- Assist in setting up meeting rooms and ensuring they are properly equipped for meetings or events.
- **Errand Running**:
- Run small office errands such as purchasing office supplies, making deliveries, or handling bank-related tasks.
- Collect and deposit checks, handle mailings, and manage external office-related errands.
- **Clerical Duties**:
- Assist with filing, document organization, and data entry tasks as assigned.
- Ensure the proper storage and organization of documents and records for easy access.
- Provide basic administrative support to various departments when required.
- **Hospitality**:
- Welcome and assist visitors and guests to the office, guiding them to the appropriate person or department.
- Ensure that guests are comfortable by offering refreshments and maintaining a hospitable environment.
- **Assisting Staff**:
- Help with moving furniture, office equipment, or other items within the office as needed.
- Provide assistance to staff members during meetings, presentations, or events, ensuring they have all necessary materials.
- Assist with basic IT support, such as setting up projectors or maintaining office printers and copiers.
- **Maintaining Office Equipment**:
- Monitor the working condition of office equipment such as photocopiers, printers, and telephones, and report any malfunctions to the appropriate department.
- Help with the organization and storage of office supplies and equipment.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an office environment is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of office equipment like photocopiers, scanners, and printers.
**Skills**:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and handle a variety of tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
