Duties

Basic Function of the Position: The position is located in the Regional Security Office (RSO), U.S. Embassy New Delhi. The incumbent will be required to support the RSO Residential Security Program. The incumbent duties include conducting residential security surveys, supervising Locally Employed Staff (LES) RSO residential security staff, directing and supervising contractor assignments, installation and maintenance of residential security systems, and the operation and maintenance of other security equipment. The incumbent will be directly supervised by Assistant Regional Security Officer. The incumbent will also perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Evaluations

**Requirements**:
**EXPERIENCE**:This position requires minimum four years of experience with low voltage alarm systems in residential, office, or industrial environments.

**Education Requirements**:
This position requires successful completion of Secondary School (Class X or higher) and three years diploma in any of the following fields of study: Electronics, Electrical, Communication, Instrumentation Engineering or Technology.

**Evaluations**:
**LANGUAGE**:
**Level 3 (Good working knowledge**) in English (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is required. This may be tested.**

**AND**

**Level 3 (Good working knowledge) in Hindi (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is required.**

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Valid Indian Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license is required.**

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.

The pay plan is assigned at the time the conditional offer letter is issued by the HR Office.
