Duties

**Basic Function of the Position**: The position is located in the Office of Facility Management (FAC), U.S. Embassy, New Delhi. The Facility (FAC) Supply Clerk works under the direct supervision of the Administrative Management Assistant and will be responsible for the acquisition, storage, inventory control, and issuance of building maintenance supplies, repair parts, and material for the Facility Management Section. The incumbent will also perform other duties as assigned by the office. Note: The incumbent should have the ability to lift a maximum of 51 lbs. (23 kg) under OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards.

Qualifications and Evaluations

**Requirements**:
**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:Two years of experience in supply or warehousing or expendables or property management.

**Education Requirements**:
Completion of Senior Secondary School (Class XII) is required.

**Evaluations**:
**LANGUAGE REQUIRED**:
Good working knowledge in English (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is required. **This maybe tested**.

AND

Good working knowledge in Hindi (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is required.

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**: Valid Indian/International Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license is required.**

**Please note: U.S. Government regulations require all Chauffeurs or Incidental drivers for official vehicles to be 25 years of age or older.**

**Only applicable for Incidental drivers**: Any applicant that possess a valid driving license issued for less than 5 years will not be considered. Please note 5 years should have been completed by the Closing date of the vacancy.**

**In case of international driving permit, the person must get Indian driving license within the probationary period.**

The pay plan is assigned at the time the conditional offer letter is issued by the HR Office.
