Duties

Basic Function of the Position: The position is located in the General Services Office (GSO), US Embassy, New Delhi. Under the direct supervision of the Inventory Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for keeping GSO property inventory tracking systems always updated. S/he will process over 2500 work orders and vouchers for property transactions into the computerized inventory system, Embassy software (ILMS)
- Asset management. Assist with inventory checks and reconciliations. Prepare DS-584 property transaction forms, process them for American Supervisor approvals along with Gate passes and enter data into Automated inventory management system and post the forms into ILMS. Work on regular basis with Information management section to track IT equipment’s & Facilities management section for Household appliances/ equipment’s. Assist Property disposal actions on regular basis. Serve as Sub-timekeeper for GSO property, compiling time & attendance sheets and leave request for 54 property office employees. Responsible for tracking office/housekeeping supplies for office use and make-ready purposes. The incumbent will also perform other duties as assigned. **Note**:The incumbent should have ability to lift 50 lbs (approx. 23 kgs).

Qualifications and Evaluations

**Requirements**:
**EXPERIENCE**:This position requires two years of work experience in warehouse environment (receiving/issuing/storing), or experience handling an automated inventory tracking system.

**Education Requirements**:
This position requires successful completion of Secondary School (Class XII) education.
