**JOB DESCRIPTION**
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused **Guest Relations Associate** to join our hotel's reservations team. As a Guest Relations Associate, you will be responsible for managing guest inquiries, reservations, and ensuring a seamless booking experience. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to provide personalized service will contribute to creating memorable stays for our guests.

**Responsibilities**:
- Provide accurate information about room availability, rates, packages, and amenities.
- Assist guests in selecting the most suitable accommodations based on their preferences and needs.
- Process reservations accurately in the hotel's property management system.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest requests and preferences are noted and fulfilled.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of the hotel's facilities, services, and promotions to effectively promote and upsell offerings.
- Address special requests, including room preferences, celebrations, and accessibility needs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to guest inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with the front desk team to ensure a smooth check-in process for guests.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
- Assist in managing group reservations and room blocks for events.
- Monitor reservation trends and communicate with the revenue management team to optimize occupancy and revenue.
- Resolve any booking discrepancies and ensure accurate billing information.
- Uphold the hotel's brand standards and guest service guidelines.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the reservation process and guest experience.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in guest relations, front desk, or reservations role.
- Familiarity with hotel property management systems and online booking platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and reservation software.
- Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and willingness to go the extra mile for guests.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Multilingual skills are advantageous, depending on the guest demographic.
