Catering Sous Chef

Ensuring that all food is of excellent quality & served in a timely manner.
- Training and managing catering staff to ensure that operations run smoothly
- Selecting the appropriate food items for each event based on guest demographics and taste preferences
- Reviewing menu options to ensure that they meet dietary requirements such as low fat or gluten free
- Planning menus, taking into account factors such as seasonality, local availability of ingredients, and event themes
- Communicating with clients to determine their needs and preferences regarding food choices
- Creating a budget for each event based on the number of guests, menu options, and any special requirements such as setup time or decorating needs
- Working with event planners to coordinate catering services such as setup, service, cleanup, and disposal of waste materials
- Delivering meals to clients and ensuring that they are served in a timely manner
- Strong leadership skills to ensure that their team members complete their tasks and work together effectively.
- Best communication skills as it allows them to interact with clients, other catering staff and suppliers.
- Well organized to ensure they complete all of their duties on time.
- Uses creativity to create new recipes and develop menu ideas for clients. They also use creativity to create visually appealing dishes that will impress clients.
- **F**ood safety procedures, such as washing hands, maintaining proper temperature and storing food properly.
- To look after production from central kitchen till execution to party plot.
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
