Our other offering, our labour of love, Oota Bangalore. A restaurant that celebrates the cuisine, culture and traditions of Karnataka.
In Kannada, "Oota aita?" (Have you eaten?) is more than just a greeting. It's an ice-breaker, a question of general concern, and a symbol of Karnataka hospitality. Using that warmth and graciousness as inspiration, we created Oota, a dining experience that features hyper-local Karnataka cuisine

**Your Role in Our Story**
As a Chef de Partie at Total Environment Hospitality Private Limited (TEHPL), you will play a pivotal role in our culinary team, contributing to the creation of exceptional dining experiences across our venues, Windmills and Oota.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with kitchen personnel to plan and adhere to standard recipes and menus that align with TEHPL’s culinary standards and guest preferences.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of cooks and kitchen workers engaged in food preparation, ensuring efficiency and adherence to recipes and quality standards.
- Portion, arrange, and garnish food according to established guidelines, ensuring appealing presentation before serving to waitstaff or patrons.
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Determine production schedules and worker-time requirements to meet operational demands and maintain efficiency.
- Train and instruct kitchen staff in proper food preparation techniques, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to recipes.
- Oversee the process of peel, cutting, and seed fruits and vegetables as required for food preparation, maintaining high standards of freshness and hygiene
**Who We Are Looking For**:
- **Culinary Expertise**:Demonstrated experience and proficiency in culinary techniques and food preparation across various stations.
- **Leadership Skills**:Ability to supervise and motivate a team, ensuring efficient kitchen operations and adherence to quality standards.
- **Attention to Detail**:Meticulous in following recipes, portion control, and presentation standards to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
- **Team Player**:Collaborative attitude with strong communication skills to work effectively with kitchen staff and other departments.
- **Adaptability**:Flexible in handling changing priorities and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- **Health and Safety Awareness**:Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices, ensuring compliance and maintaining a safe working environment.
- **Experience**:Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, showcasing culinary skills and leadership capabilities.
- **Education**:Graduate/diploma in Culinary Science or similar stream
