**Job Title**: Alumni Relations Coordinator

**Key Responsibilities**

**Alumni Engagement**
- Develop and implement strategies to strengthen relationships with alumni.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for alumni inquiries and assistance.
- Cultivate relationships with key alumni to encourage active participation and support.
- Event Coordination
- Plan and execute alumni events, including reunions, networking events, and regional meetups.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful event planning and execution.
- Manage event budgets and logistics, including venue selection, catering, and attendee coordination.

**Communication and Outreach**
- Develop and distribute engaging content for alumni newsletters, websites, and social media.
- Promote alumni achievements and milestones through various communication channels.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials for alumni initiatives.

**Database and Record Management**
- Maintain and update in AlmaShines the alumni database to ensure accurate and current records.
- Generate reports on alumni engagement metrics and participation trends.
- Leverage data to identify opportunities for targeted outreach and engagement.

**Volunteer Management**
- Recruit, train, and coordinate alumni volunteers for events, mentorship programs, and committees.
- Foster a sense of community and shared purpose among alumni volunteers.

**Qualifications**

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in alumni relations, event planning, or a similar role.

**Skills and Competencies**
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in event planning and project management.
- Knowledge of social media and digital marketing strategies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

**Work Environment**
- Occasional evening and weekend hours required for events.
- Travel may be necessary for regional alumni events.
