Role & responsibilities
Position Overview: The IT L1 System Administrator is responsible for providing
first-level technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems within
the warehouse environment. This role involves managing and troubleshooting
hardware, software, network issues, and supporting warehouse-specific
to ensure mínimal downtime and efficient resolution of IT issues.
Key Responsibilities:
1. First-Level Technical Support:
o
Provide first-level support for IT-related issues in the warehouse,
including desktops, laptops, printers, barcode scanners, and other
peripherals.
o
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues for end-users
in a timely manner.
o
Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT support teams when
necessary.
2. Network and Connectivity Support:
o
Monitor and maintain network connectivity within the warehouse,
including wired and wireless networks.
o
Troubleshoot network issues, such as connectivity problems, slow
performance, or network outages.
o
Assist with the setup and configuration of network devices like routers,
switches, and access points.
3. Warehouse-Specific Applications:
o
Provide support for warehouse management systems (WMS), order
management systems (OMS), and other warehouse-specific
o
Perform basic troubleshooting and liaise with software vendors for
advanced support.

Security and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies, including antivirus
management, software updates, and access control.
o
Monitor and report any security incidents or breaches within the
warehouse environment.
o
Assist in maintaining secure access to warehouse IT systems and data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related
field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in a warehouse or logistics
environment.
- Basic knowledge of network and system administration.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or other
warehouse-specific software is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
