We have been retained by our client a leading manufacturers of speciality chemicals in India headquartered in Mumbai.

Position title: Assistant Manager Marketing.

Hours/ Location: Monday to Friday, 9:00-6:00;
Compensation + Perks: To be discussed.

Department: Domestic Sales & Marketing.

Brief Overview: - As a member of the business development team the main responsibility is to expand Marketing & Sales activities domestic markets for product range as well as technical assistance in the assigned territory & manage day to day operations for existing and prospective clients. Job Description:
- ⚫ Engage in proactive learning about the company's existing activities, operations, channels, product range, strength, weakness, and other details during the initial part of the job to strengthen your acumen for the role.

⚫ Following with existing clients for taking orders, justifying the changes in the prices etc Conduct preliminary market survey of the region assigned.

⚫ Run regular mass mailer campaigns in assigned territory for effective Sales promotion in assigned territory.

⚫ To maintain a database of all leads generated from assigned territory & their progress reports with updated status / milestones achieved with every lead

⚫ Updating various documents sending samples as per the request from clients, sales Order sheets, Preparation Sales Order Sheets, Couriers Invoice letter and Daily activity sheets.

⚫ Coordination and Follow-ups with Plants / Accounts/Purchases & Follow up for payment on due dates.

⚫ Prepare periodic travel plans to visit important customers in the region.

⚫ Appoint distributors /agents, support & monitor their progress vs. Predetermined goals & targets.

⚫ Develop close - cordial relationships with select major customers and distributors in the assigned region.

⚫ Generate quarterly progress reports major customers / distributors in regions assigned for review by Top Mgt.

⚫ Closely coordinate the efforts made internally by our purchase, production, logistics teams to ensure total customer satisfaction.

Prerequisite:

- Should be Any Graduate (B.Sc. preferred) + Diploma in Sales & Marketing. - Should have Strong communication skills both written & verbal with a pleasing personality & a positive attitude. - Regular business travel and meetings. - Must possess good interpersonal and analytical skills. - Tech-Savvy with good working knowledge in ERP and well conversant with MS Office to prepare comprehensive database reports. - Should have min 5-10 years progressive experience in marketing with any Chemical and technical background. - Should be preferably living in western suburbs of Mumbai.
