Duties

**Basic Function of the Position**: This position is located in the General Services Office (GSO), U.S. Embassy, New Delhi. The incumbent will operate safely a fully armored vehicle (FAV) to transport the Ambassador, Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM), Consul General (CG), and/or Principal Officer (PO) within the city and the surrounding areas. Ensures that the vehicle is in clean and serviceable condition and performs minor preventive maintenance. The incumbent will also perform other duties as assigned.

**Note: The driving test on armored vehicle will be conducted for this position.**

Qualifications and Evaluations

**Requirements**:
**EXPERIENCE**: The position requires three years of professional full-time/incidental driving experience.

**Education Requirements**:
This position requires completion of High school (Class X).

**Evaluations**:
**LANGUAGE**:
**Level 2 (Limited Knowledge) in English (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is required.**

**Level 3 (Good Working Knowledge) in Hindi (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is required.**

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Valid Indian Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license is required.**

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.

The pay plan is assigned at the time the conditional offer letter is issued by the HR Office.
